Who I am
I am a Full Professor at Université Côte d'Azur (UniCA), France, since 2022 (section CNU 27 Computer Science). I was previously an Associate Professor since 2009. I am with the I3S laboratory (UniCA, CNRS) in the Signal Image and System department
I obtained a MSc in 2005 from ENSEA and a PhD in 2008 from the University of Cergy-Pontoise, France. From November 2008 till September 2009, I was a postdoctoral fellow at MIT, in the "Reliable communications and Network Coding" group of Prof. Médard. I obtained my "Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches" from Université Côte d'Azur in December 2019.
As of October 2019, I have been awarded a junior chair with the prestigious Institut Universitaire de France for five years.
As of October 2022, I am the scientific director of EFELIA Côte d'Azur: this a five-year ANR CMA project to expand AI education and training in all domains of our university.
