REFUND & CREDIT POLICY



If you wish to obtain a refund or request a credit for a future event, you can do so if you respect one of these two rules:
  • you present us a legitimate reason for your withdrawal at least 72 hours before the start of the event concerned,
  • in case of force majeure (covid, family death, etc.), you inform us at least before the beginning of the event.

Thus, please note that no refunds will be made if you did not attend the paid event and did not notify us of the reason for your absence.

However, do not hesitate to contact the treasurer if you consider that your case deserves a paritcular attention.



General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)



The registration to an event requires a personal data processing managed by ADSTIC.

A- Purpose of the data processing

1 - Objectives

The purpose of the processing is to manage the services offered to ADSTIC members registered to the event concerned.

It allows the ADSTIC to:

  • ensure the registration of members to the event proposed
  • communicate with registered members
  • produce statistics on the organized event
2 - Legal basis

This data processing falls under the execution of the contract i.e. the service proposed and defined within the framework of the contract concluded between ADSTIC and the person concerned (member of the association registered to the event organized by ADSTIC), in application of the General Data Protection Regulation and the amended Data Protection Act [Article 6 (1)e of the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR].

B - Processed data

1 - Categories of data processed
  • Member identification data (last name, first name, level of study, laboratory, phone number, and e-mail address)
  • Exchanges between the ADTSIC board members and ADSTIC members
2 - Data sources

These information are collected from the ADSTIC member registered to an event.

3 - Mandatory nature of the data collection

ADSTIC provides for the mandatory collection of data that are necessary for the management of the event organization.

4 - Automated decision making

ADSTIC does not use automated decision making.

C - Persons concerned

The data processing concerns:

  • ADSTIC members who wish to register to an event organized (or co-organized) by ADSTIC
  • ADTSIC board members and the organizer(s) in charge of the management of the organized event

D - Recipients of the data

1 - Categories of recipients

Depending on their respective needs, the following are recipients of all or part of the data:

  • ADSTIC council members (if and only if the request is legitimate)
  • Organizer of the event
  • Other association(s) who co-organize(s) an event with ADSTIC
2 - Data transfers outside the EU

ADSTIC does not transfer data outside the European Union. However, please note that Google Drive (means of collecting and storing data used by ADSTIC) policy allows them to store the data saved on the US territory.

3 - Duration of data retention

The data related to the event considered are kept for 2 years from the date of the member registration. The person concerned can request the deletion of his account at any time.

4 - Your rights on the data concerning you
can access and obtain a copy of the data concerning you, object to the processing of this data, have it corrected or deleted. You also have the right to limit the processing of your data.
